Shop & Share: Giving Back with Betsey's

“Shop & Share” is a community-driven fundraising initiative by Betsey’s Boutique Shop. Non-profits and local causes can partner with us to host an exclusive in-store Shopping Event, during which 20% of sales from participating shoppers will be donated to the charity of choice.

How It Works

1. Non-Profit Applies

Organizations fill out a short online or in-store application to request a fundraising event. Approved partners are scheduled for an available event slot

2. Set the Date

 The charity picks a date (or weekend) for the fundraiser at a specific Betsey’s location.

3. Promote Together

Betsey’s provides a co-branded digital marketing toolkit (flyers, social graphics, email templates). The nonprofit is encouraged to promote the event to their community to maximize participation.

4. Shop In-Store, Support the Cause

Supporters shop in-store during the event, mentioning the nonprofit at checkout or showing a digital flyer. 20% of their total purchase is donated directly to the organization.

5. Celebrate the Impact

Within 7–10 business days, Betsey’s Boutique Shop cuts a check or donates online. We’ll also feature the nonprofit’s story on social media to spread awareness.

Steps to Host

1. Apply to Host

Submit a short application in-store or online with:

  • Your organization’s name and mission
  • Contact information
  • Preferred store location and dates
  • Proof of nonprofit status (501(c)(3) or equivalent)

2. Get Approved & Scheduled

A Betsey’s team member will:

  • Confirm your eligibility
  • Finalize your event date
  • Share promotional guidelines and expectations

3. Promote Your Event

We’ll provide a free digital promo kit, including:

  • Event flyer (customized with your logo and date)
  • Social media graphics and captions
  • Email/text invite templates
  • The more you promote, the more your organization earns!

4. Host Your In-Store Event

On your event day:

  • Supporters shop in-store
  • They mention your organization at checkout or show the flyer
  • Betsey’s tracks eligible sales and allocates 20% to your cause
  • You're welcome to greet guests with a nonprofit table or rep

5. Receive Your Donation

Within 7–10 business days after the event:

  • You’ll receive a donation check or online transfer
  • A final report with sales total and impact
  • Donation receipt for your records

6. Celebrate & Share

  • Betsey’s will spotlight your organization on social media
  • Share photos and stories from the event to keep the excitement going!
  • Let your supporters know how much they helped raise.
